The most important data about a person can be entered directly in the dialog. Genea automatically creates the necessary events (eg a birth-event when you enter the date of birth)
You can assign a number to each person and use this number to search for the person more quickly. You'll find more information about this in the number article.
By activating the checkbox Associate with Image, you can create a connection between the data you are currently editing and the image that is currently shown in the Input-Assistance-Window. You can find further information on the Image-Associations-page.

[edit] Course of Life
You can see and edit a persons events by clicking on Couse of Life. You'll find further information in the article Course of Life.
[edit] Enter a Person
To enter a person go to the Main Window and click on Data - Enter - Person.
[edit] Edit a Person
To edit a person go to the Main Window and click on Data - Edit Person. A Select-Person-Dialog will be shown that lets you search for the person to edit. Then you'll see the dialog pictured above in which you can correct the data and save it.
