Browse People

Using the menu item Data - Browse you can browse through and edit all available people.

By pressing the Settings button, you enable the settings panel, which is displayed in the screenshot.

The buttons Next and Previous are used to navigate within your data.

[edit] Data Sources

The left list contains all available data source. The most important one is your database, which contains all the data you entered by yourself. If you have opened a Gedcom file, it will also show up here. By disabling the checkbox, you hide the people from the corresponding data source. No data is changed by this.

[edit] Columns

The right column contains available columns for the list above. You can select the pieces of information which are currently the most relevant to your work.

By changing these settings, no data is changed.

[edit] Editing People

By double-clicking on a person, or by using the Edit button, you can edit the selected people's data.

Please note, that changes to people which are loaded from a Gedcom file are only temporary. If you want to persist the changes, you'll have to export the people again.
