Settings-Dialog

The Settings-Dialog can be opened through the Program menu in the Main Window.

[edit] Server

On the first page you can enter data settings used for connecting to the database. Because only the embedded Firebird database is currently supported, it's not advised to change these settings.

[edit] Printing

On these page you can edit settings for Printing a Family Tree. If you chose to print subsidiary lines, you can chose their color and the font that is used to number the pages. You can also change the printer-settings.

[edit] Settings File

The settings are stored in the file genea.conf, which is located in Genea's data directory. If necessary, you can manually pass an alternative settings file

Genea.exe --settings=C:\Path\to\settings-file

If the file doesn't exist, it will be created with default settings.
