Starting with version 1.4.2, Genea automatically uses the date format that is set up on the computer. For the english version, this will probably be mm/dd/yyyy (two digits for the month, two for the day and four for the year, separated by slashes).

If a different format is chosen on your computer, it will be automatically used by Genea.

Previous versions always used the German format dd.mm.yyyy.
