Database not available

For storing an loading data, Genea needs its database. When it doesn't have access to it, it can't function properly.
This error occurs if Genea is already started or another application is blocking the access to the database file. The most common source of this error is, that you have startet Genea multiplel times. It is also not possible to run Genea and Backup simultaneously.

- Stop Genea and Backup and then restart the desired program.
- If the error prevails or if you can not find the program locking Genea.FDB, a restart of your operating system might help
You can alternatively try to reconnect to the database using the menu option Programm - Database - Connect.
The status bar (at the bottom of the Genea window) indicates, if the connection to the database has been established.
